About the Business With a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol, and sustainable agricultural products. To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months.  As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries. Job Vacancy Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join our Grower Marketing Team as a Grower Marketing Administrator, based in our Townsville office. This role is part of a dynamic team that actively promotes Wilmar's sugar marketing and pricing offering to sugar cane growers. The primary function of the role is to provide administrative support to a regionally based team of Relationship Managers who assist cane farmers with sugar pricing and payment options. It will also act as the first 'point-of-call' for growers making general administrative enquiries via telephone or email. Responsibilities As Grower Marketing Administrator, you will be required to develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the IT systems supporting the Grower Marketing and pricing initiatives. Whilst there is a requirement to fulfil routine reporting and administration tasks, there is an expectation to deliver process and reporting improvements across the offering. A sound understanding of the business, combined with an in-depth knowledge of system data availability, will allow the incumbent to produce insightful reporting and analysis to the marketing team. The successful applicant will participate in developing and preparing educational material for growers and assist with the promotion of the business through marketing campaigns.
