Job description

We are currently looking to employ a Growth and Partnerships Lead for a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity for an internal NRL employee to showcase their experience and build upon their skillset.

This role will support the successful delivery and growth of partnerships initiatives, disability strategy and major event activations for the Participation and Community Team.

Critical to your success will be the ability to: be proactive and solutions focused; work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to maximise the profile of NRL Participation and Community; developing a project plan that will strengthen NRL partnerships and registered participation numbers.

Duties include:

  • Manage Major event participation activation (All Stars, Magic Round, AMPOL Origin Telstra Finals) on ground activities and liaise with Internal Stakeholders (marketing, commercial, government, NRL Clubs etc)
  • Build, lead and activate commercial partner alignment for participation activations at major events and Affiliated partners
  • Mange and activate new growth formats related to the NRLs Beach Strategy (Touch, Tag and Tackle)
  • Support and activate the annual business plan development with SLS, TFA and OZ tag
  • Manage and support the development of Disability affiliates and formats Wheelchair, Physical Disability RL (Playing) Intellectual Disabilities (engagement and inclusion programs)
  • Manage and support national affiliate bodies and strategy development (Police, Universities, Wheelchair, PDRL)
  • Manage and leads obligations with disability community partners special Olympics, disability Sports Australia and What Ability
