Job DescriptionThis is a casual opportunity to assist the Resources Supervisor in the course of their duties which includes processing of client booking requests for studio and facilities bookings, both long term and immediate. In addition, the role includes review and processing of Production/Operations timesheets/invoices, and Staff duty rosters.Day to day includes but won't be limited to:
- Booking of film crews, uplinks and studios
- Entering and reconciling production charges
- Processing/reconciling invoices
- Booking and coordinating travel for production crews and Outside Broadcasts
- Liaising with Technical Operations for circuits
- Departmental coordination of production requirements
- Ensure awareness of relevant occupational health and safety regulations and codes of practice are communicated to crews and issues are addressed
- Maintain relationships with producers and crews
- Create reports for the Operations Manager and Resources Supervisor as required
- To provide on call support to the business when required (possibility once a month)
QualificationsWhat we would like to see on your resume:
Essential:- Excellent administrative, communication and people skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Precise data entry and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of television production requirements and a working knowledge of broadcast technologies
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Self-motivated
Desirable:- Diploma/degree in TV Production or Media Studies
- Experience in television production, post-production studio management, facilities coordination or similar roles
- Knowledge of camera technologies and broadcast workflows
- Project co-ordination/project management background
