You will provide exception customer service in person and over the phone whilst demonstrating a positive attitude and strong product knowledge. You will assist in all areas of Guest Services including Metung Country Club restaurant front of house & Golf Pro Shop, RSA & food handling required
key accountabilities:
Reception Desk duties
• First point of contact for all guests/golfers arriving on-site ensuring a consistently high standard of Guest Service is provided to all.
• Effectively greet and farewell all guests and answer general queries whilst providing friendly service and accurate information.
• Ensure bar, restaurant & Pro shop area is clean and tidy and well presented at all times.
• Advise the MCC Manager of any issues, improvements or guest feedback.
• Answer all phone calls in a courteous and professional manner ensuring excellent Guest Service standards are upheld.
Food and Beverage duties
• Provide excellent customer service through the provision of efficient and effective order taking and table service (where applicable).
• Ensure accuracy when dealing with guests order(s) by repeating order(s) to the guests and getting it right the first time.
• Ensure that all orders are entered correctly so that other relevant staff can understand and follow the order to fulfil their duties effectively.
• Ensure all guests bills are processed and closed off before guest departs.
• Assist with preparation of menu items including all bar menu items, a well as assisting kitchen as required with restaurant menu items in an efficient and timely manner to maintain temperature and appearance.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensuring there is enough supplies in the fridge for the following day.
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques at all times.
• Assist with guest queries through the knowledge of products and maximize sales opportunities by upselling.
• Communicate effectively with other staff and department
• Undertake other incidental and peripheral duties as and when required.
• Ensure any recommendation for improvement to current standard operating procedures and/or processes are communicated to your Supervisor.
• Assist with any other duties as requested by MCC Manager or General Manager
WHS, Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with all necessary regulatory requirements and legislation
• Ensure full compliance of OHS regulations, all company policies and procedures, and any company directives, in relation to workplace health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment that is free of risks to health, so far as is reasonably practicable including;

• Previous experience in a retail environment advantageous
• Previous experience in a similar customer service orientated role including processing POS transactions
• National Police Check
• Food handlers certificate
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Victoria
