Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Gym Receptionist/Admin/Group Instructor. This multi-faceted role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, has a passion for fitness, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be the face of our gym, ensuring that every member and visitor feels welcome and supported from the moment they walk through our doors.
Key Responsibilities:
Receptionist Duties:
- Greet and assist members and visitors with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Manage check-ins, membership inquiries, and sign-ups.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Administrative Tasks:
- Schedule and coordinate group Fitness Classes and personal training sessions.
- Assist with membership administration, including renewals and cancellations.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and data entry.
- Support the management team with day-to-day operations and special projects.
Group Instructor Duties:
- Lead engaging and effective group Fitness Classes tailored to various skill levels.
- Develop and implement innovative workout routines.
- Motivate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Continuously improve your fitness knowledge and skills through training and certifications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a fitness environment.
- Cert 3 Group fitness instructor certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with gym management software.
- Passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
