Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Group Fitness Classes:
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to gym members.
- Motivate and support members in achieving their fitness goals.
- Prepare challenging classes with progressions & regressions.
- Knowledge of Myzone is highly regarded.
2. Customer Service:
- Greet and assist members at the front desk with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Answer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Handle member registrations, cancellations, and other administrative tasks.
3. Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure gym equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
- Monitor and restock gym supplies as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and organised workout environment.
4. Promotion and Sales:
- Promote gym memberships and services to potential clients.
- Assist in organising and participating in gym events and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Certificate III in Fitness, Certificate IV in Fitness preferred
- Current First Aid & CPR qualifications + Advanced First Aid (Oxygen Resuscitation or willingness to obtain one)
Requirements:
- Must be available to work morning, day, evening & weekend shifts.
- Must be confident enough to use your initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle administrative duties efficiently.
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed.
