Our salon is conveniently located on the ground floor of the hotel in the private sanctuary of Ubika Day Spa.
We have a part time or casual opportunity available for a qualified Hairdresser. We have a fully equipped salon set up and ready to use. A "rent a chair" opportunity would also be considered for the right person.
Ubika Day Spa is not exclusive to hotel guests, your current clients are welcomed to come with you!
About the role
As our Hairdresser, you'll use your talent, flair, creativity and specialised skills to style, cut and present hair in line with guest & customer expectations. You'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional level of service and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and serenity in our luxurious spa facility.
Your skills & experience
- You'll have a minimum Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent & rates applicable to qualifications);
- At least one year experience as a hairdresser;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Dynamic, vibrant, confident, warm and professional personality;
- Ability to confidently speak to and sell a variety of products and services;
- High standard of personal presentation;
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays and
- You must also meet the legal requirements to work in Australia
