Handy Person / Labourer

Carina Leagues Club is currently undergoing a $17m renovation and we need muscle power to help us with those odd jobs that come up on a construction site!  

We are currently looking for a casual Labourer for approximately 20-25 hours per week to assistance with a wide range of tasks both inside and outside of the building. There is potential for this role to become permanent for the right person. 

This role will suit someone with general Handy Person or Labouring experience.  

Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment;
• Perform general cleanup of work areas;
• Help with the setup and teardown of job sites;
• Support skilled tradespeople as needed;
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision;
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times; and
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team;
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor for extended periods;
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions;
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work;
• Reliable transportation to and from Carina.
