About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced motivated general hand/ handy person who is competent in working both as part of a team and individually, someone who is motivated and looking to Work alongside like-minded tradespeople within a safe company structure.
The position requires the applicant to be physically fit for laborious indoor and outdoor tasks
Duties & responsibilities
- Assist Plumbers Carpenters Electricians with their daily responsibilities when required
- Clean and tidy the Workplace
- Be able to carry out general building and yard maintenance repairs
- Operate Plant & Equipment including but not limited to Trucks, Excavator, Skid Steer, EWP, Mowers, Brush Cutters and Chainsaws
- Enjoy the outdoors and be capable of some strenuous work
- Maintain company policies and procedures
- Be well presented with good communication skills
Skills & Experience
- Proven 3 years of experience in Facilities and Building Maintenance
- Hold a current Queensland MR driver's license or higher
- Preferably Hold current high-risk licenses for, EWP Excavator & Skid Steer
- Have or be willing to obtain certificates in, but not limited to, working at heights, asbestos awareness, confined spaces, etc.
