Job Description
Are you handy on the power tools? Are you a natural problem solver? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same? Join our dedicated Maintenance team as our new Handyperson!
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for:
- Assisting the Maintenance team with the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the hotel rooms, facilities and common areas.
- Complete daily plant rounds and note for the repair of any equipment that may appear or sound faulty.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, used, and stored correctly.
- Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled by the Property management System (PMS).
- Assist in keeping up-to-date records on the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment.
We are looking for someone driven & wanting to learn.
- No experience required, but experience is always a bonus!
- Willing to work hard and get your hands dirty
- Someone who can work well both independently, and as part of a team
- Good at organising and multi-tasking
- Must be a good communicator
