Harbour Early Learning is state of the art and a recently completed purpose-built centre. Our landmark building is located on Village High Road in Vaucluse. We are a 97-place centre and our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. We are open 52 weeks a year, except for Public Holidays.
We are seeking experienced and motivated Cert 3 and Diploma qualified educators and trainees to join a professional and dedicated team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators. The position is full time 38 hrs, 5 days (Monday to Friday). You will have the privilege of working with like-minded collaborators who are setting the new benchmark for Early Learning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or interest in a traineeship.
- Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.
- Current Child Protection training or willingness to obtain.
- Clear Working with Children Check.
- Clear National Police Check.
- Australian citizen or permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience working with children aged Birth to 5 years.
- Genuine willingness to work with any age groups (including Birth to 2 years).
- Sound computer literacy skills related to documentation and program planning.
- Demonstrated understanding of current education and care legislation regulations and guidelines.
- High level interpersonal skills, demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability.
- Effective implementation of theory and research-based pedagogy.

- Facilitate and document learning opportunities founded on children's interests.
- Work collaboratively with a team of qualified professionals.
- Develop and maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families.
