About the Role
Celmac Australia is looking for an experienced Hardware Technician to install, train and repair our Wide Format equipment and software. We are growing fast and need to expand our technical department.
Your role consists of, but not limited to:
- Installation and training of new and used Wide Format equipment.
- Onsite repairs and preventative maintenance of existing install base under warranty and non-warranty.
- Process warranty claims for our various vendors.
- Ordering, receiving and distribution of spare parts.
- Providing product support and technical advice to customers face to face and via phone or remote access.
Qualifications and Experience
- An Electronics background is desirable.
- Experience repairing, installing, and troubleshooting printers.
- Will consider someone with a strong background in operating large format printers.
- A strong knowledge and experience with PC networking
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite - Word, Outlook & Excel
- The ability to maintain job documentation.
- Great communication skills.
- A positive can do attitude with a willingness to learn new things
- Flexibility around travelling for work in some occasions interstate and overseas.
- A valid driver licence and own car
