AddressThe Lucas Group is eagerly seeking the next addition to the Olam Orchards Australia leadership team in the form of a Harvest Equipment Maintenance Supervisor. They are looking for someone who can make an immediate impact, ensuring continuous and proactive improvements to almond orchard equipment functions and activities.
About Your New Role
Your main responsibility as the Harvest Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is to maintain the equipment of Olam’s various orchards across VIC/NSW.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate workshop and on-farm repairs and maintenance to Harvest Equipment
- Maintain and develop maintenance plans that are cost-effective and efficient.
- Create and implement new systems/processes designed to maximise output and efficiencies.
- Ensure maintenance standards are consistent across the business.
- Establish maintenance objectives, targets and programs to be followed by the team.
- Train the maintenance team, specifically in relation to safety standards.
- Cultivate partnerships with external technical experts and service providers.
Does this sound like you?
We are looking for a horticultural enthusiast with:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
- Experience in agriculture, ideally in the horticultural or almond sector. Experience working in orchard/almond Equipment Maintenance and repairs will be a huge plus!
- Experience in a workshop/workshop management position.
- Mechanical qualifications are highly desired, however similar demonstrated experience will be considered!
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
