The purpose of this role is to support the Equipment & Maintenance Manager in ensuring the Harvest Equipment is available at all times for harvest.

Reporting to the Equipment and Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for:
Maintenance Coordination
- Ensuring continuous and proactive improvements for maintenance and equipment repairs by coordinating preventative maintenance activities
- Work to ensure that machinery maintenance/overhaul standards are consistent across the business as guided by the Equipment and Maintenance Manager
- Participate in the harvest period by supporting orchards to maximize machinery availability
- Developing purchase orders and asset lists to assist in budget tracking and ordering of Harvest Equipment
- Ensuring costs and programmed maintenance records are accurately captured and analysed with continual improvement. Assist orchards with budget tracking, working to meet targets.
- Preparing preventative maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted loads
- Reviewing and assign work to maintenance employees
- Completing maintenance jobs in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency.
- Promote and contribute to the development of staff and assist in the establishment of objectives and targets
- Assist the management team with process development to improve equipment and activity efficiencies
- Improve performance and productivity by participating in Performance and Development reviews.
- Ensuring maintenance technicians are trained and equipped to effectively carry out the maintenance program
- Working in conjunction with the Orchard Managers and the Environment Health & Safety Manager to ensure all operations are well managed in respect to risk and injury management, cultivating safe behaviours and demonstrating safe use of handling, storage and transport of products and materials.
As well as a good understanding of programmed maintenance of machinery, with capable computer and risk assessment skills. Passionate about continual improvement
