Our client is an Australian owned company providing reliable logistics, freight and supply chain services to premium brands and manufacturers Australia wide.
Candidates for these positions will have their MC or HC License and have proven experience and reliability in previous positions, particularly with local deliveries as well as tautliner and load restraint practices.
Position: HC driver
Location: O’Connor
Start time: 4.30am - 5.30am
Average hours per week: 45-55 hours
Rate: $38/hour + penalties
Scope of work:
- Driving prime movers towing single trailer.
- Being able to couple and decouple trailers is essential.
- Trailers will be loaded with pallets of cardboard.
- Drivers are required to strap their load, pull curtains open and closed. Perform pallet counts of their total load to report to the office staff.
- Sign for their loads including pre-departure documentation. Interact with customers upon delivery.
- Able to reverse.
- Comfortable coupling/decoupling trailers
- Physically fit.
- Attention to detail.
- Punctual.
- Friendly manner for customer interaction.
- Willing to assist other drivers.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to be able to cover our other sites, Canning Vale and Forrestfield.
