About the role
Role Location: Minto, NSW
Role Type: Full Time – AM & PM Shifts available
As a MC Truck Driver, your role will involve the pickup, transportation, and delivery of containers and freight to third party customers and clients, depots, and various Qube customers. Your motivation coupled with your attention to detail will see all tasks completed efficiently, safely, and on time.
- Complete all necessary associated documentation
- Take good care of vehicles / plant under your care
- Ensure compliance with all safety, fatigue, heavy vehicle operating guide lines, loading requirements, axle weights, adhering to vehicle specific permits
- Operate hand held PDA units, tablet devise and any other systems as requires & provided
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following;
- Multi-Combination (MC) or HC Drivers License
- A-Double with Tautliner & Sideloader Experience
- MSIC card Required
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards, Heavy vehicle legislation and permitting standards
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Ability to work well within a small team environment
