The Daisy’s team includes approximately 190 people, working across 9 stores and 6 production sites, from Pakenham to Torquay. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HC Truck Driver to join our Transport team on a full-time basis.
The role
As a HC Driver you will:
- Drive a Prime Mover in a safe and efficient manner
- Drive a Four Axle Float to transport Heavy Plant and Equipment between company & customer sites
- Drive a Semi-Tipper, Truck & Trailer and Walking Floor Trailer to transport a range of soil and quarry materials between company & customer sites
- Operate a large Front-End Loader to load soil and quarry material
- Perform daily pre-starts and maintain vehicles and equipment in a very clean and safe manner.
- Complete daily paperwork accurately & neatly
Hours of work will mostly be on Monday to Friday, however some weekend work may be required.
Skills & experience
The successful applicant will be an experienced Truck Driver who:
- Holds a current HC or MC licence, with a safe driving record
- Can form friendly and positive customer relationships
- Has reasonable knowledge of Geelong area
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility
- Preferably has competencies and experience operating a wheel loader
