Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our MR Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
You’ll be
- Safely loading your truck for delivery
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Driving our manual transmission trucks between our industrial, commercial and residential customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
- Returning to our facility to unload pick-ups and complete necessary information
- Customer focussed and strong physical fitness required
Shift details
- 8.00am - 4.06pm core hours (plus overtime)
- Overtime pre or post shift
- Monday to Friday
You’ll also need to
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a relevant truck license (minimum MR truck licence)
- Forklift licence advantageous
- Have experience driving a manual transmission truck
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
- Be able to lift up to 30kg
- Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
- Be prepared to undertake a driving assessment, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
