Scrap metal yard looking for a TRUCK DRIVER

The role requires qualified and experienced TRUCK DRIVER with Road Ranger experience to join our transport team in MALAGA, WA 6090

You will be in responsible for transporting scrap metal material from local business

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate trucks respectfully, and responsibly at all times
• Common sense approach to loading and restraining your loads
• Work with Logistics and Operations Manager to ensure all clients are serviced in an efficient, timely and accurate manner
• Present with a well-dressed, friendly 'can do' attitude every day – especially with customers. (Uniform supplied)
• Be willing to get out of the truck and get hands dirty to help customers/colleagues
• Assisting Logistics Manager in the tracking/monitoring of bins
• Keeping trucks clean and tidy inside and out

The ideal candidate will:

• Current unrestricted MC licence preferred but will accept HC license as a minimum
• Heavy vehicle driving experience of a years or more is required
• Road Ranger experience
• Previous Hook Truck experience preferred but not essential
• Must be able to break and set combinations unassisted
• Current Forklift licence
• Sound mechanical aptitude
• Must have intimate knowledge of the Perth Metropolitan area
• Be motivated with a can-do attitude, someone with attention to details,
• Have the ability to listen and communicate with others, and a willingness to work together toward the common good
• Have good problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of metals would be a plus be not necessary

ASAP starts and expectation of 38h+.per week.
