Job Description: Ansett Road Transport is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Interstate HC Truck Driver to join our team. As an Interstate Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials on long-haul trips between Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne. Our freight lanes cover major cities and ensure a stable and consistent workload.
Responsibilities:
- Drive interstate routes between Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne.
- Transport various types of cargo and ensure secure loading and unloading.
- Complete multiple deliveries as required to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including BFM accreditation.
- Operate refrigerated trucks; refrigeration experience is an advantage.
- Ensure high customer focus and represent Ansett Road Transport and our customers professionally.
- Work weekends and public holidays as needed to accommodate delivery requirements.
- Maintain a neat and tidy appearance with good personal hygiene.
- Ensure truck is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid Heavy Vehicle license (HC minimum)
- BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) accreditation or willingness to obtain it.
- Proven experience in interstate truck driving and long-haul trips is an advantage.
- Clean driving record and demonstrated safe driving practices.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with management and customers.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
- Ability to operate refrigerated trucks is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
