Leakes Road Quarry (LRQ) which is primarily a Crush Rock & Scoria Rock producer has also diversified itself by adding transport capabilities, focusing on its selected direct customer base. We see this as a growth opportunity for our business. Customers include new estates, nurseries, and construction sites.
LRQ and Altona North Landfill (ANL) recycles rock, concrete, bricks, asphalt, soil and wood products, which has been in operation since 1974.
Majority of deliveries are within a 20KM radius of the Leakes Road site, and average daily drops are 7-9. The truck starts in Plumpton, but we can consider starting and/or finishing in Altona, for the right candidates. We plan our jobs weekly and keep our drivers informed of schedules. We have Auto & Manual trucks (Volvo & Iveco), and work closely with our drivers on all matters.
Importantly we value SAFETY and would be happy to provide the right driver with any assistance with refresher courses (and potentially for HR licenced drivers, possible support with co-funding on getting your HC licence). Any additional training would be provided in-house / on site, with Quarry Management.

- Minimum 40 hours work per week Monday to Friday 6:30am to 4pm Saturday 7am – 1pm (optional as available).
- 3 months probationary period with potentially a full time position offered.
