The Daisy’s team includes approximately 190 people, working across 9 stores and 6 production sites, from Pakenham to Torquay. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HC licensed Truck & Trailer Driver to join our Carrum Downs team on a full-time basis.
The roleAs an experienced Truck & Trailer Driver you will:
- Deliver garden and landscaping supplies to customers, generally in Melbourne
- Transport products from suppliers and Daisy's production locations to Daisy's stores
- Primarily drive a manual Truck & Trailer
- Operate mobile equipment in the sales yard
- Maintain sales yard and truck presentation & cleanliness
Hours of work will primarily be between Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required on an ad hoc basis.
Skills & experienceThe successful applicant will be an experienced Truck Driver who:
- Holds a current manual HC license, with a safe driving record
- Must have Truck & Trailer tipper experience
- Can form friendly and positive customer relationships
- Has reasonable knowledge of Melbourne
- Preferably has competencies and experience operating a wheel loader & forklift
