Truck Driver (Semi Trailer) - Welby

In this role, you'll:

• Competently operate Heavy Combination vehicles and hold a HC Class Drivers Licence
• Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow
• Operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane
• Perform any of the duties of a Road Worker Grade 3, as and when required.

About you
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free work place for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.
You have sound experience operating HIAB or similar truck mounted cranes and experience undertaking physical labouring duties. You'll also hold:

• White Card
• HC Driver Licence
• Traffic control certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
• Experience and understanding of local road networks across the district

You're prepared to work outside regular working hours (day and night works when required), attend after hour call-outs, and prepared to travel extensively throughout the state and work at locations away from the base station including camping away from home when needed.

We take the WH&S and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously. Therefore, to be successful in this role it is a requirement that you must reside within a 75 km distance from either the Mittagong depot.
