Looking for: Maintenance Diesel Fitter - Generators
This is a very unique role for the people that love the outdoors and outback!
Roster: 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
Fly Perth to Port Hedland, the base for this role. Partner with another tradesperson and drive to remote indigenous communities on a scheduled maintenance roster to ensure power and water are maintained.
All applicants must be able to drive on outback roads, have a MR Drivers license or above, have a team player attitude, easy going and the ability to think outside the box and troubleshoot to ensure ensure Water & Power supply to communities are not affected.
Compliance is extremely important, as the work form part of a government contract.
Requirements for the roles:
- Australian recognised trade
- Current and valid drivers license (MR or above)
- First Aid certificate
- Ability to work in a small team (2) and desire to help each other to complete tasks
- Ability to pass a comprehensive medical
- Comfortable with Roadhouse, motel and community accommodation
- Must be confident with maintenance and servicing of generators
