Unite Resourcing, in collaboration with our valued client in the mining explosives industry, is actively seeking an experienced HD Mechanicto join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts maintenance and repairs on various mechanical equipment.
- Participates in planning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Installs, assembles, and aligns equipment according to specifications.
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintains documentation, communicates effectively, and collaborates with the team.
- Keeps tools and equipment well-maintained and participates in training for skill development.
- Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel Maintenance.
- Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic working on trucks, mobile plant, or similar equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current & Valid HR Drivers License
- High Risk Forklift license (Desirable)
- Clean National Police Clearance
