Supporting risk management identification and mitigation for the function; and establishing, prioritizing, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including financial indicators such as ROIC, working capital, total delivered cost, and others.Your role will consist ofRisk & Assurance
- Establish a comprehensive risk program tailored for commercial operations aligned with Risk Management reporting standards and processes.
- Provide support to ensure compliance with standards and oversee management action plans.
- Provide KYC and KYS capabilities to ensure commercial transactions are aligned to all regulatory requirements, Newmont standards and values.
- Deliver analysis and metrics to monitor governance, compliance, and risk programs.
- Provide ESG reporting requirements for commercial activities
- Support the development of strategic plans for the commercial discipline encompassing supply chain value chain, and marketing.
- Provide insights from performance reporting, forecasting, and business plan development.
- Conduct market and industry analysis, identifying market trends and highlighting opportunities and threats to Newmont objectives.
- Support internal and external communication needs related to commercial activities.
- Provide business improvement activities across the commercial team.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within commercial.
