The Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Asset Management (Commercial) to join the Sydney office. This strategic leadership position reports directly to the Managing Director of Australia and plays a critical role in steering the investment performance of our logistics, business parks, and office asset class portfolios in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and embody the culture and values of CapitaLand, both internally and externally.
• Develop and execute Asset Management strategies that enhance value and optimise performance across our portfolios.
• Maintain and expand a network of key business relationships and work closely with stakeholders including property managers, consultants, and external managing agents.
• Formulate and manage budgets, business plans, and performance reporting processes.
• Drive asset enhancement initiatives and manage tenant relations to maximise portfolio returns.
• Analyse market trends and their impact on assets, proposing strategic adjustments as needed.
• Spearhead leasing activities, capital expenditure projects, and divestment proposals.
• Manage and mentor a team of four Asset Managers, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
• Liaise between our teams in Singapore and Australia, ensuring alignment and fostering strong cross-border collaborations.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned leader with 12-15 years of experience in commercial real estate Asset Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to corporate nuances.
• Committed to excellence and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
