About the role:
As the Head of Corporate Services, you will be a pivotal member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This is a full-time, 12-month Fixed Term contract, with potential to extend or transition to permanent for the right candidate. Based in Emmetts Head Office in Horsham. The role will require travel between branches across Victoria and South Australia.
In this role you will lead the strategic and operational aspects of Finance, Technology, and Sales Administration functions. You will oversee financial operations, drive Emmett’s technology strategy, manage capital investments, and ensure seamless sales administration processes across the company. Your leadership will directly contribute to the strategic direction and sustainable growth of Emmetts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing managing a robust cash flow budget and a regular updated forecast for the business.
- Lead the design and execution of business strategies.
- Manage and oversee all financial aspects including planning, budgeting, and sustainability.
- Champion our technology initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Direct the sales administration function to maintain control and achieve desired margins.
About You:
- You are an inspirational leader with a proven track record in managing corporate functions within large companies
- Direct exposure to listed public companies will be highly regarded.
- Extensive experience in Chief Financial Officer, Director Corporate Service or Head of Corporate Service roles.
- Highly experienced in managing financial operations including planning, budgeting, accounting, and revenue management is essential.
- An approachable personal style with an exceptional ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
- Your strategic thinking, exceptional analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities set you apart.
- You possess strong business acumen, financial expertise, and a robust understanding of risk management.
- Ability to foster relationships ranges across all levels, from technicians to key community leaders.
- Previous experience in the agricultural, automotive or equipment sales industry is highly regarded.
- Member of CPA, CA Australia or global equivalent accountancy qualification.
