Job description
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully raising capital and a have keen interest in private markets. Deep relationships across the wholesale channel, including private wealth firms, IFAs, and family offices is essential. The Head of Distribution will also be responsible for developing the distribution strategy for the fund, and experience across the platform and research/consultant space is also beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive wholesale distribution strategy for the firm
Cultivate and manage relationships with key wholesale clients, financial advisors, and private wealth advisors
Collaborate with the executive team to create compelling marketing materials and presentations to effectively communicate the fund's value proposition.
Work closely with the investment team to ensure a thorough understanding of the fund's investment strategies and objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 10 years experience raising capital through the wholesale channel
Strong understanding of private markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
Deep relationships across the IFA, Private Wealth, and platform space
Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain key institutional and advisor relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing market conditions.
