The Head of eCommerce will be responsible for overseeing our online sales and presence. The role involves managing our website, strategising to drive online sales, improving the customer experience, and working closely with marketing and product teams to ensure our online offering is second-to-none. This role is to manage all eCommerce sites across Zeder Corporation.
THE ROLE
- Develop and implement eCommerce strategy to maximise sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Manage and optimise the website, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns
- Analyse website performance and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of online activities with overall company strategy
- Manage the online product catalogue, including product presentation, categorisation, and inventory levels
- Ensure the website provides a high-quality customer experience, with swift load times, ease of navigation, and optimised for mobile devices
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
- Prepare and manage the eCommerce budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and achieving ROI targets
- Report on performance metrics, providing insights and action plans to senior management
- Manage online customer service and also the order processing team for online sales
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
- Proven experience in eCommerce management, with a track record of achieving sales growth
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and digital marketing strategies
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Creative thinker with a customer-first mindset.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
