About the Role:

The Head of Enterprise PMO, is a newly expanded role created by a recent organisational realignment. You'll lead a small high performing team with responsibility for the Enterprise Project Management Office. This role will play a critical part in advancing our strategic objectives by driving the development, delivery implementation and continuous improvement of EnterpriseProject Management in the organisation. Reporting to the Manager Organisational Strategy you will collaborate closely with the Head of Strategy and Transformation and stakeholders both internally and externally to drive efficiency, mitigate risks and optimise resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continue the development and enhancement of the Project Management Framework expanding it to the enterprise level.
  • Develop and implement Project Management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and best practice across all initiatives.
  • Embed and enhance robust governance frameworks and performance metrics to monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and facilitate timely decision making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline project delivery.
  • Mentor and inspire your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

About You:

To support your success in this role:

  • You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in a related or aligned discipline.
  • Proven senior leadership experience in managing or leading program management or PMO functions.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion within budget and timeline constraints.
  • A strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and change management would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
