About the job:

As the Head of Enterprise Sales - Auto at Grays, your primary responsibility is to lead the development and execution of strategic sales plans tailored for existing and potential Fleet Management, Rentals, Government, Financier clients within the auto industry.

What you will do:

  • Develop comprehensive strategic sales plans that align with Grays' business objectives and capitalise on market opportunities within both high net worth and commercial segments of the auto industry.
  • Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform the creation of targeted and innovative sales strategies.
  • Identify and engage with potential commercial clients, showcasing Grays' unique value proposition and tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding Grays service offerings within the auto industry
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting both consumer and commercial segments of the auto sector, ensuring that Grays remains at the forefront of market trends and innovation.
  • Effectively communicate Grays' value proposition, products, and services to high net worth clients and commercial partners through compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted collateral and messaging that resonates with the unique needs of clients in both consumer and commercial segments.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on sales performance, providing insights into trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement across both consumer and commercial segments.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to refine and optimize sales strategies for maximum impact product strategies, campaigns and events to optimise market share.

About you:

Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within a startup or enterprise segment of the auto industry, with exposure to both consumer and commercial clients. Experience with Fleet, Financiers, Rentals, Government in the Auto industry would also be highly regarded.

You will also need to have -

  • Strong understanding of high net worth and commercial client dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans that result in significant revenue growth across consumer and commercial segments.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to inform decision-making.
  • Enterprise level experience and contacts in this industry to help in business development prospecting
