What you'll do

The Head of Facilities Management role will provide strategic direction, leadership, financial and operational management of all Distribution Centres nationally. This role can be based anywhere on the east coast with travel requirements across our national network.

  • Create & foster an environment that puts the Customer 1st and actively usestakeholder feedback that helps us achieve our goal of being Proactive, Responsive and Efficient.
  • You take accountability for the growth and development of the team,ensuring the right capability is recruited and developed, development plans are in place and ongoing day to day management of the team and the maintenance of our operations in order to achieve our FM strategy.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet the changing needs of the business whilst managing a substantial operational budget and capital expenditure and asset lifecycle across the network
  • Drive and embed a Safety Culture, managing risk, site safety, legislative and operational compliance
  • You challenge the status quo with positive intent and adhere to the Woolworths Core Values and ways of working.


What you'll bring

  • A min of 5 years experience in a similar senior leadership role ideally in a distribution centre, supply chain, manufacturing, or multi site environment
  • Previous stakeholder management experience and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning and large scale budget P&L experience
  • Proven coaching and leading transformational change and business initiatives across a geographically dispersed team
  • Understanding of compliance requirements with relevant acts, Australian Standards and statutory provisions
  • Experience or knowledge of Automation as well as essential services, refrigeration, air conditioning, or electrical systems (highly regarded)
