What’s the job?
The education landscape is fast-paced and changes rapidly. The purpose of Head of Future Student Operations/Sales Operations is to support the wider Domestic Student Recruitment/Sales division across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on continuous improvement through our tech, tools and talent deliveries. This is included the personalization and automation of the customer journeys across all communication and event channels, with the creative ability to lead the development of new tools improving business deliverables but ultimately creating exceptional experiences for our students.
This role leads a team of experts and operational staff that support the student recruitment team by ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to effectively engage and attract new domestic students. The position has 4 direct reports: Senior Future Student Communications Coordinator, Analyst Quality and Reporting, Solutions Technical Architect and a Commercial Data Analyst.
Day-to-day accountabilities:
Manage and maintain the communication journey and experiences using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, creating personalized customer journeys and create in system automations to enhance the overall student experience.
Curiosity with a focus on continuous improvement, primarily focusing on technology and tools
Manage commercial data and customer activity maximising commercial opportunities and highlight key areas for review, analysis and improvements.
Actively research best practice in the following areas: Marketing, Sales, Events, Technology and Customer Service. Use insights to innovate and align Student Acquisition operations to improve lead to enrolled conversion and student experience
Project management of strategic initiatives to support and improve student on boarding and success.
Manage relationship and contract negotiations with Salesforce, NICECXOne and all other third-party vendors.
Develop and implement training strategy for the Sales team, including induction, CRM, sales techniques, product, pre-census attrition training.
Manage and improve CRM and oversee data management processes.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Sydney (Surry Hills Campus). The team works on a flexible basis: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Who you are
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience leading an operational team, ideally in a higher education environment
Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud both as a communication and automation tool
Experience with data analytics and process improvement, with an innovative and process-improvement mindset
Significant experience in Project Management, Change Management and Business Analysis.
Certification in project management or business analytics is preferred.
Ability to calculate and demonstrate the potential cost benefits of a project.
Ability to succeed in a process and KPI-driven environment.
Previous experience in creating and implementing new processes.
