As an Assistant Operations & Guest Experience Manager, you will get the opportunity to lead a team who are highly driven in creating happiness and magical memories to ensure that we deliver an awesome Guest Experience!

  • During the parks winter shutdown period between May-August, you will predominately be working Monday – Friday.

  • At the same time, you will be leading a dynamic team of more than 50 operational team members in a complex operational environment, giving you some truly unique leadership experience to help take your career to the next level! 
  • Moreover, you will have a seat at the table with our Executive Team when working on projects to further improve the Park’s Guest Experience

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving superior guest service standards, maintaining a seamless operation of the Park's admissions function and playing an essential role in both motivating and holding a team accountable to high standards of operation at all times!
  • You will play a key role in identifying, coaching and mentoring emerging talent within our Guest Experience team. 
  • Applying your skills and experience as a strong leader of teams, you will provide clear direction, motivate and hold the team accountable to exceptional service standards.
  • Whilst working weekends and public holiday’s is par for the course in Hospitality, Leisure and Entertainment roles, outside our peak summer trading period, you will typically only be required to work 5 days on/ 2 days off.

What you will need to bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 3 years management experience within a hospitality, events, leisure or entertainment industry leadership role.
  • A proven track record in delivering consistent guest service excellence.
  • Demonstrate a proven background as a strong leader of people, with experience in front-line leadership roles, both motivating and holding teams accountable to agreed standards.
  • Recruitment, induction, training and development experience.
  • Ability to deliver effective roster management, stock ordering and analysis of business performance reports.
  • Ability to work within defined annual budgets.
  • Experience in efficiently managing guest queries, feedback and achieving effective outcomes.
  • Retail, revenue assurance and margin management experience would be advantageous.
  • Lead our Guest Experience Committee
  • Ensure key metrics are met within your department.
  • Implement and lead our Guest Communication Strategy
  • Lead Guest Experience Team Performance and Progression.
  • Lead Guest Experience Projects
  • Regular Reports to the Operations Manager on KPI's.
