About The Role
IOR is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Head of Information Security who will lead our efforts to safeguard the organisation against the increasing threats in today's digital world. This role will directly report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be a crucial part of the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and leading the information and cyber security team, achieving high standards of regulatory compliance, and developing secure platforms that protect both company and customer data.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement an organisational-wide security strategy.
• Lead the establishment and continuous improvement of the Information Security framework.
• Direct a comprehensive security program, encompassing Security Operations, Incident. Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management.
• Manage the delivery of high-quality security projects and artifacts, ensuring 'secure by design' principles are integrated into company products and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and externally, influencing security practices and culture.
• Champion the development of a high-performing Information Security team.
• Lead incident response and management efforts in case of security breaches or incidents, including coordinating responses, investigations and recovery efforts.
• Providing regular reports to GLT/Board and stakeholders on the state of Information Security within the organisation, including key metrics and performance indicators.
About You:
• Extensive experience in leading Information Security teams and programs, preferably in environments requiring defense against sophisticated threats.
• Experience working in teams with in-house development of ERP, IoT systems and operational technologies.
• Experience managing information assets which fall under the Australian Security of Critical Infrastructure
• Successful track record of achieving regulatory compliance and accreditations, demonstrated by past achievements such as obtaining ISO27001 certification within stringent timelines.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in strategic planning and coordination across multiple work streams to deliver impactful security outcomes.
• Experience in providing expert cybersecurity guidance to high-stake entities and advising on complex security projects.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive the implementation of security best practices within an organisation.
• Certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP
