About the opportunity:Decipher Bureau have partnered exclusively with a large utilities organisation responsible for providing critical infrastructure across SEQ and are seeking a strategic and results-driven Cyber Security Manager (Head of Information Security) to lead the delivery of an enterprise cyber security strategy and program of initiatives. You will assume a leadership role, fostering collaboration among multi-faceted teams spanning architecture, operations and governance domains.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish and manage cyber security capabilities required to ensure information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure and processes are protected.
- Lead the team that provides cyber security operations, services and training across IT and OT environment: maintaining and calibrating existing cyber tools, technologies and systems (e.g. SIEM, vulnerability management tools, endpoint security, firewalls, etc)
- Establish and manage cyber security policies and procedures and monitor compliance
- Ensure stakeholders adhere to all relevant compliance standards including the PSPF, ISM and other Risk Management frameworks.
- Maintain organisational wide awareness of threats and vulnerabilities to assets and infrastructure
- Manage the budget and funding assigned to Information Security function
- Lead incident response and drive resolution on a diverse range of IT/OT cyber vulnerabilities and incidents
- Provide regular reporting and present key findings and recommendations on the status of the cyber security program at executive and board levels.
- You will have extensive experience leading and building a Cyber Security function in a complex environment.
- You will have had demonstrated experience at senior level working within ICT and OT environments.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and allocating cybersecurity budgets effectively.
- Relevant security qualifications (e.g. SABSA ISO 27001 Foundation, SANS, CISSP etc)
- Experience with operational cyber security tools and technologies e.g. Splunk, McAfee, PKI etc.
- Broad knowledge of legislative and governance frameworks e.g. 27001, IEC:62443, NIST with the capacity to successfully implement.
