About the business and the role
Carmel School is a Jewish School in Dianella that consistently ranks among the top schools in WA for WACE. We have a supportive, close-knit staff and delightful students who are diligent and courteous.
If you want to enhance your teaching career by working at a top school, with hard working staff and self-motivated students, where you will learn with and from the best and be appreciated and rewarded for your efforts, you will be well-placed at Carmel School.
You do not need to be Jewish to work at Carmel, just supportive of our ethos.
Starting Term 2, 2024, or earlier by negotiation, this is a full-time position. The successful candidate will have experience teaching Years 11 and 12 English ATAR and Literature, and leadership experience would be preferred but not essential. This is an on-going position with the School, with a 6 month probation period.
Applications close 4pm, 11 March 2024 and should all be sent via Seek, including a letter of application, resume and contact details of three professional referees.
Please contact Mr Dean Shadgett, Head of Secondary School, at *************@carmel.wa.edu.au with any questions.
We reserve the right to appoint before the closing date.
All Carmel Staff are required to abide by the Staff Code of Conduct to ensure child safety.
