- Manage the team servicing the partners to ensure the relationship is supported appropriately by the team, in a timely fashion.
- Build strong relationships through formal and informal interactions to ensure that we appropriately service the client relationships.
- Establish structures for other members of TAL and/or elsewhere within the business unit to deliver to the Funds’ needs where it is appropriate to leverage shared resources.
- Provide strategic guidance to the partner stakeholders to assist them in the management of their insurance arrangements.
- Take a leading role in the development and implementation of initiatives and projects to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure all product and service-related contractual arrangements are in place and any risks faced by TAL are addressed.
- Negotiate changes to insurance arrangements which optimises TAL and the Trustee’s risk management and service position.
- Be the face of TAL for client interactions requests.
- Be available as the escalation point for all service concerns, including all underwriting and service issues.
- Anticipate Fund requirements and take action internally to ensure that their needs are satisfied.
- Provide coaching and regular performance related feedback to team members.
- Ensure that the team are kept informed of key company knowledge, events, and updates.
- Actively contribute to the Partnerships Leadership Team to support our broader Group Life and Retirement team.
- Actively build and promote a team culture of compliance and risk management awareness and appreciation.
- Keep up to date on all key changes to Compliance regulations and risk management policy.
- At least 5 years' experience in Superannuation and/or Group Insurance market.
- Strong understanding of the superannuation industry and its interplay with the group insurance industry.
- Strong self-leadership skills.
- Ability to lead the delivery of multiple simultaneous projects.
- Substantial experience and successful track record of delivering business change and improved processes within a complex business transformation programme.
- Experience working across large projects/programs of work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the capability to work across all levels of the organisation.
- Good attention to detail and a rigorous focus on delivering quality output.
