The Role
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will report to the General Manager and engage with the Board to execute and drive the company strategy, optimise business performance, and increase shareholder value. You will lead the finance team and oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, forecasting, budgets, treasury, tax, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of all facets of financial management, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit cards, bank reconciliations, procurement, and contract management support.
- Collaborate closely with other senior executives to develop and implement the company’s strategic plans, including financial planning and budget management.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, including preparation of budgets and cash flows.
- Play a pivotal role in financial decision-making that impacts the company and provide strategic financial input to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Manages the company’s working capital requirements and is the principal interface to lenders.
- Ensures that the Company complies with all statutory and financial reporting requirements and ensures the Company is fully tax compliant.
- Identifies and manages financial risks to the company, which includes implementing risk management strategies and policies.
- Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance team.
- Manage the development and delivery of RapidPlas procurement strategy, policies, and priorities.
Your Background
- Degree in Finance or Accounting with CPA or CA preferred.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior finance management role.
- Detailed knowledge of accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- High level analytical skills, research, problem solving and commercial business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and lead finance team, with skills in coaching, mentoring, training, and staff management.
- Demonstrated experience in advising key stakeholders and executive management team on finance strategy, change management and business improvement to support organisational goals.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
