Our client is a growing and successful apparel retailer with a strong brick-and-mortar and Ecommerce presence, both in Australia and New Zealand. Well-known for their quality products at affordable price points, they are continually growing and expanding their business.
Position Description
The Head of Marketing & Creative will join a dynamic and collaborative team, whereby you will develop and drive marketing strategies, with the support of 3 direct reports.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will enjoy being hands-on, along with having a strategic mindset that can set the creative vision and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of integrated marketing and communications strategies
- Oversee the marketing calendar alongside the brand promotional plan to determine brand focuses to drive sales for all channels across retail, concession and online
- Ensure Brand DNA is protected consistent positioning of the brand across all marketing and communications
- Development of social and media strategies, plans and tactics aligned to brand strategy and increasing brand awareness
- Management of all advertising creative (development and production) inclusive of digital
- Manage, motivate, mentor and coach direct reports
- Set the brand creative direction and ensure it is delivered on time and in line with the broader marketing strategy
- Oversee art direction and all content assets, including photography, copy and video
- Ensure the team are delivering on-brand collateral that can be used internally and externally
- Development and delivery of seasonal product campaigns
- Work collaboratively with the broader team to ensure objectives are clear and that production and media budgets are appropriate
- Collaborate internally to develop creative concepts which are digitally led, but also work across media
- Work closely with the Leadership team, direct reports and peers across the brand to effectively share work in progress, ideas and resources
- 3-5 + years of experience within a Head of Marketing/Creative role, within apparel/fashion essential
- A proven track record of commercial success, having worked for a major national or international fashion retailer
- Highly creative with the ability to innovate
- Collaborative team player with the ability to provide motivation to the broader team
- Strong creative eye with a passion for product and the customer
