With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering trading technology direct to clients and via our network of strategic partners, we are looking for an experienced Head of Marketing Operations to join our team to create and manage a high performing marketing delivery function that services all our internal stakeholders and regional marketing teams.
The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has support offices in the UK, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Guatemala, and Bahamas.
The Marketing team is responsible growing brand awareness, running effective performance marketing activity, and delivering automated CRM programmes to improve client retention. The team also works collaboratively with the Sales, Partnership, and IT teams to continually deliver improvements in client and partner experience and to also provide team members with a great knowledge base of the company and the broader financial services industry.
Purpose of the Position
The Head of Marketing Operations will play a pivotal role in developing and managing processes to ensure an efficient and effective marketing delivery team that produces high quality marketing assets at speed. Marketing Operation teams span copy, design, digital marketing, webops and CRM and are called upon to support all commercial stakeholders to execute against growth strategies promoting our brand and products. You will work collaboratively within a large marketing team and engage with cross functional stakeholders as a partner to help them achieve their marketing goals and objectives. This position requires a person with excellent communication skills, written and verbal, as well as a strong organisational foundation to coordinate inputs from across the business and to communicate these briefs to creative and tech teams. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills to manage competing priorities, resourcing and personalities that span multiple geographic and cultural time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate a quarterly planning process to capture requirements from key stakeholders across the globe.
Run quarterly meetings with Ops teams and stakeholders to talk through project requirements, capturing and resolving any follow-up items to ensure high quality briefs with clear direction.
Manage the delivery of projects in JIRA and follow-up with Ops teams to ensure project timelines are being met.
Maintain the Marketing Ops project list and JIRA boards so any stakeholder is able to see what projects are being worked on and what their status might be.
Proactively and regularly communicate across the business to provide status updates on the projects being worked on as well as those that have been delivered.
Campaign management for initiatives, as they may arise, where global coordination is required.
Work closely with regional commercial and marketing teams as well as partner and IT teams to ensure their requirements are being met.
Selection criteria
Essential:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a marketing role.
Degree in Marketing or Business.
Proven track record of developing high quality marketing assets that resulted in successful marketing execution and results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work with team members in multiple locations and cultures.
Desired:
An interest in trading, FX, or general finance.
