Head of Mcgregor Campus (Early years - Year 6)

Full Time Position – 5 Year Tenure

About the Role:

Seymour is seeking an experienced, energetic, empathetic and skilled Junior School leader to fulfil the role of Head of McGregor Campus (Early Years - 6). Reporting to the Principal, this critical role is responsible for the responsibility for leading, managing and organizing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Junior Years (Prep - Year 6). This includes all aspects of curriculum, teaching and learning, and wellbeing, OSHC/Vacation Care, facilities, budgets, student experiences as well as communications with staff, students and families. 

The Head of McGregor Campus is a key member of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the Principal. 

Educational/Vocational Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education.
  • Current South Australian Teacher’s Registration.
  • Current Responding to Abuse and Neglect certificate.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Qualifications and experience appropriate to the role.
  • Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) certificate.
  • Experienced leader with significant leadership experience. 
  • Ability to teach across the Junior Years.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Qualifications which further support the work of the College.

Desirable 

  • Qualifications at post-graduate level.
  • Experience working in an all-girl’s school.
