About the role

We've got someone in the team going on parental leave, so we're on the hunt for her replacement in a contract role (approximately 13 months from around May 2024 to May 2025.) Reporting into our Global Director of Corporate Affairs, you will be responsible for leading and managing the external positioning of TWE, specifically building positive corporate brand awareness, driving thought leadership opportunities, and mitigating reputational issues globally.

  • Act as media spokesperson and key media liaison for all corporate media, both proactive and reactive in ANZ, the UK, Europe and Asia regions
  • Influence key external stakeholders (including media) about TWE's narrative to contribute to external awareness about the company's progress and achievements globally
  • Implement the global Corporate Brand and Reputation strategy including corporate narrative and brand identity
  • Support the delivery of TWE's financial communication requirements including media liaison concerning half-year and full-year reporting and management of the production of the Annual Report
  • Provide senior experienced advice on crisis and issues management as well as proactive corporate reputation building

About you

We are searching for a motivated external communications professional with seasoned media experience and connections. We are focused on finding candidates with ASX experience who are confident at dealing with Executive Management in a complex, global organisation.

  • Sophisticated understanding and experience of managing reputation, Media and issues management in an ASX-listed company, preferably with global experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing issues within complex and regulated environments at a national and/or preferably global level
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing ability especially with Exec stakeholders
  • Strong in dealing with the media as a Company spokesperson and significant experience in managing major media issues/crises
  • Detailed understanding of external environment including Government priority areas, industry complexities and media focus areas
