About the Opportunity 
Reporting to the CPO, this newly created position will play a pivotal role in our transition to a new P&C model. The focus of this role is to create a seamless experience for Metcash employees. Responsibilities include overseeing EVP, Employer Brand and Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, DEI, Talent Management, and Enterprise Learning. Additionally, the role involves defining group-wide frameworks for our pillars, collaborating with teams to develop and implement programs and solutions that support pillar partnering people plans and strategic P&C needs.

In this Role You Will…
•    Lead and execute the communications strategy.
•    Shape and oversee the enterprise Talent Acquisition strategy and frameworks.
•    Ensure compliance with corporate governance through the enterprise DEI strategy.
•    Develop and activate the enterprise culture strategy, including values and behaviours.
•    Drive employee engagement through enterprise strategies and measurement approaches.
•    Connect the enterprise learning strategy to employee experience.
•    Shape the Metcash leadership model and oversee Metcash-wide leadership programs.
•    Design, build, and manage Metcash-wide employee training programs.
•    Maintain the P&C calendar for seamless execution of initiatives and processes.
•    Oversee the people advice and operational support team, focusing on continuous improvement, automation, and best practices.

You’re Likely a Match If You Have…
•    Senior P&C experience with a focus on the holistic employee experience preferably worked in a COE and Business Partnering function.
•    A track record of P&C change management, project leadership 
•    Experience driving business change, with the ability to quickly build relationships and influence effectively
•    Your ability to coach/mentor and negotiate will be complemented by your natural ability to partner and engage with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
•    You have a strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex people-related and business challenges.
•    Commercial awareness with the ability to think strategically to deliver business and P&C outcomes
•    Comfortable working with ambiguity with a passion for innovation and having impact.
