JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently searching for a Head of Public Relations to join our growing agency. The role will be to provide leadership to our team, strategic advice to our clients, ensure quality control, deliver successful PUBLIC RELATIONS campaigns, reporting, content, events, activations and social media campaigns for our clients.

You will work from home or in our Sydney office as needed.
Head of Public Relations duties
Strategic direction for clients
- Be responsible for the accounts end-to-end
- Ensure quality control of work delivered to clients
- Ensure clients get agreed work on time
- Be proactive and come up with fresh ideas for clients
- Build a good rapport with clients
Research and writing
- Oversee the account teams writing a range of stories for media on behalf of clients
- Develop writing skills across the team
- Ensure quality control of writing
Media relations
- Overseeing pitching
- Growing and maintaining media relationships
- Overseeing stories to media to secure coverage for clients and providing strategic direction to the team
Presentations and creative ideation
- Creating PowerPoint presentations
- Brainstorming creative ideas
Managing a team
- Oversee three team members to ensure work is of a high standard
- Providing mentorship and opportunities for the team to learn and develop
New Business
- Assisting with new business presentations and pitches
Please note there is national and international travel required from time to time.
Additional duties from time to time as agreed.
