Given their future strategic objectives and continuous dedication to their employees and clients, the business is looking to appoint a Head of Safety and Wellbeing.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer and working closely with the Executive team, the Head of Safety and Wellbeing will have a critical role in driving the function at a national level. You will be responsible for providing the strategic and operational leadership of the organisation’s health, safety, and Wellbeing roadmap in alignment with service delivery and company objectives. This will include developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and programs that promote a safe, healthy, and productive work environment, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements. You will provide visible safety leadership by partnering closely with both internal stakeholders across the organisation, as well as fostering strong relationships with external partners.
As Head of Safety and Wellbeing, you will have a track record of success in leading the development and implementation of robust health, Safety and Wellbeing strategies that enable best practices in daily operations. This includes establishing clear frameworks and reporting systems to ensure compliance standards are met, as well as capturing performance metrics which can be integrated into organisational and board reports. You will also have strong experience implementing comprehensive wellbeing and psychosocial programs that address both employees' and customers' mental and physical needs. Ideally, this experience will have been gained in a multi-site environment with exposure to influencing across a geographically dispersed workforce.
