The Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being South Australia's largest maternity and obstetric service, and statewide Maternal Fetal Medicine service.
Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.
The Women's Health Physiotherapy Team provides best practice, contemporary obstetric and gynaecological physiotherapy services. These services extend to inpatient, outpatient and childbirth education settings.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within Women's Health Physiotherapy to join us as Head of Unit (AHP3) working in a job-share in a part-time capacity (0.6 FTE).
The Head of Unit, Women's Health Physiotherapy functions as a specialist clinician in the physiotherapy management of obstetric and gynaecological patients of the WCHN.
The position is responsible for the day to day leadership of the Women's Health Physiotherapy Unit, and the development, coordination and implementation of obstetric and gynaecological physiotherapy services to women which result in safe, efficient and optimal care

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
- Extensive experience in physiotherapy management in obstetric and gynaecological conditions
- High level knowledge of obstetric and gynaecological conditions and the Physiotherapy management of these conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to lead a team and foster good working relationships
