Our Exciting Opportunity

We are looking for a candidate to explore new technologies within automation to meet our service delivery business requirements, drive Tools and Automaton pilots from ideation, incubation and final usage in MOAI CU Operations.

Head - Tools & Automation, MA SL Build will validate business potential and align with stakeholders regarding future rollouts, transfer proven solutions to execution team for scaling and onboard new technologies, build necessary capabilities, competences, ways of working to enable delivery of these technologies in MOAI Operations.

Head - Tools & Automation will be responsible for analyzing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for MOAI customers. This role will drive the delivery effort to make Ericsson & customer work more efficiently through adequate delivery tools, processes, ways of working, measurements & KPIs.

This role will also support deployment programs, common structures and to identify and execute improvements within the service delivery organization to ensure that work is executed as per the project requirements.

In this role, you would:

  • Define automation scope, design automation solutions, driving end-to-end technical automation solutions delivery, incubation and adoption
  • Responsible for reviews with core project team members in building business case, crafting automation with Portfolio and ensure development meets the defined scopes
  • Responsible for crafting the architecture to integrate customer environment with Ericsson automation solutions and Portfolio.
  • Collaborate with business and process owners to understand business issues and implement / deploy scalable solutions, where applicable.
  • Secure quality of completed automations.
  • Support deployment of automation solutions in line with our Portfolio
  • Be responsible for writing and review of technical documents and automation project related documents.
  • Ensure Full potential & Adoption target fulfillment.
  • Drive Internal/external Governances with CUs & other product developments interfaces within MA/BA
  • Secure operational and productivity outcome and KPIs through automation
  • Drive Automation Best Practices Program, promote community for sharing and reuse
  • Accountable for overall PoC and MVP (or Pilots) budget, objectives, deliverables, outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as planning and execution of PoCs and pilots
  • Responsible for collation of information and formulate situational analysis.
  • Responsible for defining strategic options/solution scenarios and recommendations
  • Responsible for implementation of chosen solutions
  • Responsible for reporting and communication

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor or master's degree in Telecom or Business administration
  • 15+ years of experience of the Telecoms industry and 5+ in NRO business aspects and 5+ years in leading Automation Solutions
  • Strong validated experience to maintain trust with all stakeholders, good understanding of Ericsson customer project management processes, and project financials.
  • Strong competence on Ericsson portfolio with strong competence of NRO technology and solutions being a plus
  • Specialized depth / breadth in expertise, working independently
  • Broad experience in Ericsson internal processes, organization (both global and CUs)
  • Customer facing, Presentation and Communication skills alongside Problem Solving & Critical Thinking
  • Eye for business and Financial Understanding
  • Excellent in handling MA/CU level governances
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries and dynamics
  • Business insights & commercial thinking
  • Highly adaptive, and thriving in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong communication, organizing, planning and negotiation skills
  • Deep understanding on Ericsson core value & cultures and processes
  • Excellent in coaching and mentoring alongside extensive problem solving and prioritization skills
