Well established machine tool support company requires the above to be part of our mechanical & electrical maintenance team to provide comprehensive maintenance support, as well as to carry out maintenance & repair tasks .
We are looking for a NSW Trade Fitter with a strong industrial background, who has worked on machinery and other types of plant and equipment.
- NSW Trade qualification is essential for the role.
- Previous experience having worked within a manufacturing environment .
- Previous machine tool and CNC experience essential.
- Previous electrical fault-finding skills and experience is beneficial.
- Attending to faults and breakdowns on-site in client facilities, including isolating mechanical / electrical faults .
- Previous mechanical fault-finding skills and experience is essential
- Exposure to automation systems & PLC fault-finding is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team are essential.
- Must be attentive to detail and be able to work under pressure.
- At least 5 years of proven, previous related experience.
- Must be well presented , and work with client machine operators in a polite , friendly and efficient manner.
- Must be available for overtime during emergency repairs including weekends and afterhours i.e. must be prepared to work shifts, overtime, shutdown activities, callout, and standby as and when required.
- Being able to interpret , mechanical, hydraulic drawings , and have clear understanding of manufacturer’s operation and technical manuals, specifically the safety procedures.
